On September 24th, the "First Global Automotive New Ecology Development Conference and 2023 China New Energy Vehicle Parts Trade Fair" successfully concluded at the Shiyan International Convention and Exhibition Center.
At this trade fair, in addition to the regularly showcased long blade, short blade, square blade, and hybrid power batteries, the third-generation commercial super pack with blade batteries from Fudi Battery, standardized PDUs, high-voltage components, and the new charging and swapping product "Blade Swap Pack" also made a brilliant appearance.
Currently, the power batteries on the market are mainly ternary lithium batteries and lithium iron phosphate batteries. Traditional battery packs are composed of battery cells assembled into modules, which are then arranged on a tray to form the battery pack, with a space utilization rate of only 40%. Fudi Battery's third-generation commercial super pack, however, is developed as an integrated pack based on long blade, square blade, and short blade designs tailored for different vehicle models and scenarios. Using CTP technology, the battery cells are directly elongated and fixed onto the frame of the pack, making them both energy carriers and structural components. This design solves the fixation issue and enhances strength, increasing the space utilization rate of the battery pack to over 60%. Compared to traditional battery packs, this represents a 10% increase in space utilization, a 20% increase in volumetric energy density, and a 10% increase in gravimetric energy density.
